Our partnerships with organizations like Feeding San Diego, City Life, Monarch Schools and local churches allow us to provide much-needed food to our neighbors here in San Diego and around the world. Our services include weekly grocery deliveries for the homeless and elderly, home-cooked meals for single mothers, and thousands of nutritious meals delivered to underdeveloped countries. The recipients of these meals are very grateful for your support and generosity!
San Quentin is California’s oldest prison and the only prison with death row inmates, although governors have banned the death penalty since 2006, the prison currently houses about 3,000 inmates. One of our most impactful programs is the StoryTellers Workshop, which allows inmates to explore and create in depth and meaning. Many men who complete this workshop say they leave inspired, motivated and equipped to share their stories. Our Love Works team is grateful to these brave people for sharing their hearts and allowing us to witness their profound personal growth.

Thanks to your generosity, we have supported more than 40 families in San Diego with our rebuilding program and continue to support refugees in special circumstances.
As the needs of the immigrant community have changed, we have shifted our efforts to include single mothers at risk of homelessness. We help these mothers feel cared for, respected and looked after by preparing their homes and providing general support in the community.
We offer a community home, boutique and skills training center for youth, single mothers in San Diego County as a safe place where education, personal growth and confidence can grow with loving support.
