People use the cloud to store their mobile apps and data and use it to restore lost or damaged phones that can take hours. This process is known in the industry as backup and recovery and is used to protect large systems containing hundreds to thousands of data sets. In the event of a tornado, hurricane, or earthquake, the entire data center can be shut down, causing a significant loss of business revenue. Therefore, business continuity should include the use of disaster recovery solutions to stop and restore affected applications and their data. Another disaster recovery option is to copy applications and data from the local database to the rescue database, which has a shorter recovery time than the backup and restore process required for applications that cannot withstand long waits. Emergency shelters are like having a cell phone for an emergency. This demo demonstrates successful recovery from a simulated modern software disaster and successful restoration of applications to a local database when repaired.
Text editing can be useful in many real-world situations, saving the end user a lot of time. However, creating custom placement tools requires coding skills and knowledge of ML, which creates significant barriers for many potential users. To overcome this limitation, we introduce Label Sleuth (www.label-sleuth.org), a free open source program for tagging and building label discriminators. This system has (a) a code-free system that makes NLP accessible to non-professionals; (b) Guides users through the entire tagging process until they find an administrator. Common classes make the process work – from start to finish. within a few hours and (c) enable configuration and extension by the developer. By open-sourcing Label Sleuth, we hope to create a community of users and developers who will expand the use of NLP models.
