Scholarships For Hispanic And Latino/a Mba Students
Applicants must be of Hispanic or Latin American descent and plan to enroll in a full-time MBA program. You must live in Texas, but you must not be a US citizen. To receive the scholarship, students must have a minimum grade point average of 2.5 on a 4.0 scale.
The LULAC National Scholarship Fund (LNSF) funds three types of scholarships: National Scholastic Achievement Awards ($2,000) for students with a 3.5 or higher GPA; Honors Awards ($500-$2,000) for students with a GPA of 3.0 or higher; and general awards ($250-$1,000). This second type of scholarship is awarded based on academic performance, community involvement, interviews, and essays.
Applicants must be US citizens, permanent residents or DACA recipients. MBA students must apply or enroll part-time. Only residents of Arizona, Arkansas, California, District of Columbia, Illinois, Iowa, Kansas, Massachusetts, New Mexico, Ohio, Pennsylvania, Texas or Wisconsin are eligible to apply. The Hispanic Scholarship Fund (HSF) selects 10,000 HSF Scholars each year. Recipients receive need-based scholarships ranging from $500 to $5,000. Members also receive additional benefits including career support services, mentoring and conferences.

The Association of Latin American Professionals in Finance and Accounting (ALPFA) awards several scholarships each year ranging from $1,250 to $10,000. MBA students do not need a degree in finance to apply. However, they must be Premium ALPFA National Student Members to apply. You must be a US citizen, permanent resident, or DACA recipient.
