Tuition & Fees

Our scholarship helps the U.S. military in training. All job categories are eligible for recognition. Purpose: to strengthen the educational activities of veterans.

The Hill & Ponton P.A. The Veterans Scholarship award will be in the form of a payment to an accredited university by the scholarship recipient and can be used for education-related expenses. Scholarship winners will be notified by email and are required to submit a photo for promotional purposes within 2 weeks of notification or the award will be forfeited. I decided that I was not ready to give up my future opportunities. I am a senior at the University of Maryland majoring in Visual Communications. Growing up in rural Iowa, Jeremy decided at age 17 that he wanted something more. Jeremy had a natural inclination to join the military and became a Sergeant. After six years (1998-2002 and 2005-2007) of active duty and three deployments between Iraq and Afghanistan, Jeremy has developed deep feelings of gratitude, empathy and connection. During his time as an infantryman, Jeremy was cross-staffed as a doctor. These emotional experiences associated with medical training were the basis for her becoming a nurse practitioner.

Although no longer in the military, Jeremy continues to work as a supervisor for the Department of Veterans Affairs. Jeremy understands that service to our country creates bonds that cannot be broken between those who serve. Jeremy maintains a sense of community in veterans through nursing. Jeremy, who earned his bachelor’s degree in nursing from the University of Minnesota, hopes to tap into that area and build trust with his patients.
