The life of teacher and philanthropist Judith Babcock exemplifies her belief in education and helping others through scholarships. Judith Babcock, a member of Upsilon Delta, FL, is a resident of Coral Gables, FL. He holds a master’s degree from Florida State University, Miami. For 32 years, she was a teacher and media specialist in Miami-Dade County Public Schools and a member of Coral Gables Church. Through Judith’s legacy, he donated $2 million in scholarships to the Chi Omega Foundation. In recognition of her gift, the foundation was named the Judith Scholarship Program

This fund was established to assist undergraduate members of the Chi Omega fraternity who may be experiencing financial hardship.
The fund is designed to help Chi Omega alumni and colleges facing immediate financial difficulties due to the crisis announced by the President.
Bobby Banaszak is the initiator of the Chi Beta chapter at Purdue University in Glitter Bobbie is a renowned aerospace engineer and advocate for women in engineering. He established the Engineering Impact – Bobby Banasak Glitter Scholarship Fund for Chi Omega College students and alumni pursuing engineering careers in ABET-accredited engineering programs.
Jean Mermaud Mracek has an extraordinary career history as a collegiate officer, national leadership advisor, chapter advisor, national conference delegate, fraternity state president and national conference president. Chi Omega Fraternity established this fund to honor Jean’s dedication. This fund is for representatives who have been elected as Panhellenic Council officers for the following year and attend the Panhellenic Academy at the National College of Science and Technology Conference. This fund provides support for conference registration, travel and related expenses and can be used directly for leadership development programs.

Foundation Trustee Melanie Maxwell Schein and her husband, John, established the Roddy and Lucky Scholarship to honor the impact their two cats have had on the Schein family. This scholarship is available to Chi Omega College students and juniors pursuing a degree program in animal welfare or veterinary medicine.

There are two separate applications: one for current college students, seniors, or fifth-year seniors, and one for alumni.

This scholarship is available to Chi Omega students who wish to further their educational and career goals through a study abroad program. The program must be at least eight weeks Preference will be given to tourists to developing countries

Greater Cincinnati Alumni Education Grant The Greater Cincinnati Alumni Education Grant is sponsored by the Bahman Foundation of Cincinnati. This is a scholarship program for Chi Omega alumni who live in the Greater Cincinnati area. Applicants must live in the Greater Cincinnati area and be 24 years of age or older.

Grants: Graduate students without an undergraduate degree may consider the grant programs listed below. A current FAFSA is required
Federal Pell Grants: These grants are awarded to undergraduate students who demonstrate financial need based on the federal application formula. Undergraduate students can receive a Pell Grant award of up to $6,895 (for the 2022-2023 academic year, divided equally over two semesters of full-semester enrollment) or $6,495 (for the 2021-2022 academic year). The US Department of Education determines student eligibility. No student may receive more than 12 semesters or the equivalent of a Federal Grant.
Financial Aid & Scholarships
Program for Further Education Opportunity Grant (FSEOG): This is a grant for undergraduate students who demonstrate special financial need. This award is limited to annual FMU FSEOG scholarships awarded to eligible students and will be awarded until the award ends.
College and Higher Education Teacher Education Grant Program (Teaching): The TEACH Grant is a federally funded program established by the College Cost Reduction and Access Act (CCRAA). TEACH grants provide $4,000 annually to qualified students who plan to become teachers and meet certain requirements. If a student receiving a TEACH grant does not meet the required guidelines, the grantee must repay the financial aid loan directly under the William D. Ford Direct Loan Program.
EASE Program: The William L. Boyd, IV, EASE program is a state grant that helps undergraduate, degree-seeking, Florida residents attend an eligible private school. Florida non-profit college or university The average EASE award to students for the 2021-2022 academic year is $2,841.
Florida Student Aid Grants (FSAG): The Florida Student Aid Grant (FSAG) program is a state need-based aid program available to undergraduate, degree-seeking, Florida residents who demonstrate substantial financial need and are enrolled in a post-secondary institution.
